We enjoy and appreciate our designer business. However, the billiard and gameroom furnishings industry does not enjoy the margins that the household furniture industry benefits from. To stay competitive in the retail market, we must sell for lower margins of profit. With this in mind, we have different pricing structures set up.
The majority of our designers have been into our stores and are familiar with our products. They simply call us with an order, or come in without their client to make the purchase. Using their knowledge of the product insures their greatest profit.
When designers choose to bring their clients into the showroom, it is then considered an end user sale. The designers who choose this method normally have a predetermined upcharge that their client pays to them directly.
